Chaste wins again

Congartulations to all the owners in Chaste, it was a fantastic win on Saturday and it was great to see everyone there to cheers her home. Since joining the team she's done a tremendous job in picking up in excess of $56,000 in prizemoney from only 5 starts including 3 wins and 2 seconds. She's now enjoying a well deserved break and we look forward to her return and hopefully many more wins.

Winners start to come again

The stable hit a lull there for a while with last month recording 6 winners and until this week June was nil. Thanks to a double yesterday at Ipswich with Kate's Message and Sequaboomwa and Tafeer winning at the Gold Coast on Wednesday we have had 3 winners from our past 3 starters. We are now back on track.

Family Holiday Time

It's been a long 9 years without a break so I am taking the family on a well deserved holiday for 2 weeks from 4th July - 20th July. I will be in constant contact with the stable while I'm away and the horses will be in the hands of my 2 trusted foreman Luke Pannell and Jodi Schweida. No Stopping Schweida

Schweida Racings phenomenal run continued today at Doomben with Kelly saddling up 3 runners for 2 winners and a second. Kelly is placing his horses to perfection and is getting the results week after week. It helps when you have great staff behind you and the staff at Schweida Racing are no doubt the best staff that Kelly has had in the last 20 years. There's no time for Kelly to celebrate as the stable has runners on Friday & Saturday then it's off to the Magic Millions QTIS 600 Yearling Sales on Sunday & Monday. Congratulations to all our owners, it was a great day today and we'll continue to keep this great winning streak going.

Schweida Racing has really kicked off 2010 with a bang. Since Jan 1st, the stable has posted 13 winners (6 at Doomben, 4 at E/Farm, 2 at G/Coast & 1 at Ipswich) and numerous placings. Considering Kelly has so many unraced young ones in work and many of the horses that were running and winning around November & December are either out spelling or have only just returned to work. This amount of winners in such a short time shows that his horses are ideally placed to be able to achieve these kinds of results.

Impulsive Dream

Impressive emerging filly, Impulsive Dream has recently been sold and will be leaving our stables. She ran second in the Group Two Sires Produce Stakes over 1400m and then third in the 1600m Racetree TJ Smith eight days later.

She is a promising filly and we wish her new owners well.
